Middle School Celebration
Join us on Thursday, May 2nd, from 5:15 to 7:30 pm for a community celebration at Muskegon's stunning new Charles Hackley Middle School at 1700 Clinton Street.
This event will be our first chance to explore the school's cutting-edge classrooms and facilities. It will include a dedication ceremony at 5:30 p.m., and light refreshments will be served.
The $35 million Charles Hackley Middle School represents Muskegon Public Schools' first new school building in over six decades! It features 45 classrooms, six science labs, a large gymnasium, a football field, and even a dedicated STEAM lab.
The school, designed to enhance learning and student safety, includes features like flexible classroom furniture and advanced security systems.
Charles Hackley Middle School, funded by a voter-approved bond and built on land donated by Mercy Health, is a testament to Muskegon's commitment to education.
We are deeply grateful for residents’ support and hope to see you on Thursday, so we can share the pride and joy of this amazing new school with our Nelson Neighborhood children.
