Join Us On The Jackson

Back by popular demand! Nelson Neighborhood is excited to announce we have scheduled the 2nd annual W.G. Jackson boat trip on Muskegon Lake.

Participants on this trip will participate in hands-on freshwater science. They also get to explore Muskegon from the water; learn about area history; and lake restoration projects that have helped to improve our local water resources.

It’s a trip to remember.

Thursday, August 24th
5:30 PM – 8:00 PM
GVSU Annis Water Resources Institute
740 W. Shoreline Drive (next to Heritage Landing)

The trip is free of charge, but space is limited. Please register below to reserve a space.

Important Reminders

  • There is no seating on the boat.

  • If you bring any children, they must be in 4th grade as of the 2022 school season. This is due to Coast Guard regulations based on our safety equipment onboard, and the science on the boat is geared for 4th grade and up.

The Jackson is owned and operated by GVSU’s Annis Water Resources Institute as part of its education program. For additional information, please call Jamie Cross at 231-557-3271
